Author-It Introduces Web-Based Authoring Content Management Tool
Author-it Software Corporation has introduced Author-it Live, the Web-based authoring, content management and publishing solution. The Web-based delivery capabilities of Author-it Live, an online version of the company's product, provide the user with all the power of an enterprise-level content management system combined with the access of the Web from any location. Using Author-it Live, geographically distributed teams can collaborate on the creation, sharing/reuse, and management of content while working remotely via Internet access. The product's ease-of-use makes the product simple to navigate, even for basic users. Plus, with no client software to install, Author-it Live can be deployed easily and quickly.
Author-it Live has authoring, management, and publishing modules all developed and manufactured internally by Author-it, not "cobbled together" with components from various third-party vendors. Consequently, the product provides seamless operation while eliminating potential integration issues. Technical requirements for running Author-it Live include a Windows Server, along with an Internet-connected PC or laptop for each user. Author-it is available direct through the Author-it Web site www.authorit.com.
