Lockheed Martin Deploys Aperture

July 9, 2008 - Lockheed Martin selected Aperture Technologies’ Aperture VISTA Data Center Configuration Management technology to update and enhance its current data center operations and to make data center management accessible to more Lockheed Martin teams.

Lockheed Martin employs about 140,000 men and women worldwide. The $42 billion Corporation is currently engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture and integration of an extensive range of IT infrastructure services for numerous commercial clients and federal agencies. 


“With Aperture VISTA Data Center Configuration Management deployed, Lockheed Martin’s data center, administration and facilities teams will now be able to proactively track infrastructure, data capacity and other resources across multiple sites via intelligent portal-based access from any location within the business.  No other solution has the management capabilities of VISTA Data Center Configuration Management,” said Steve Yellen, vice president of market strategy.

This latest deployment will see the company migrate from previous installations of Aperture software to roll out the latest version of Aperture VISTA Data Center Configuration Management, enabling visual management and automation of critical processes across all the company’s data center sites.
